About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a backend engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our backend systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions that meet our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• System Development:

1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design scalable backend solutions.

2. Architect, develop, test, and deploy robust backend systems that meet performance and reliability requirements.

• API Development:

1. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or others as required.

2. Develop and maintain APIs to support frontend and mobile applications.

• Performance Optimization:

1. Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend systems.

2. Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, Node.js, or others.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD process.
• Proficient in working with relational databases and SQL.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent contributor with excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java development
• Experience with event-driven systems, such as message queues (MQ) and Kafka
• Familiarity with cache stores, specifically Redis
• Proficiency in various data structures and Java concurrency
• Proficiency in distributed architecture concepts
• Experience in crypto/blockchain/Web3/trading is a significant advantage
