Partner with a diverse team. You will architect and develop various services and APIs for the dv01 product as well as our internal applications by collaborating with product owners to meet business requirements. This includes working closely with a variety of finance and engineering teams to resolve scaling or functionality pain points in data visualization and enable us to ship new products.You would also translate complex ideas into simple documentation.

Develop using a modern, open source stack. You will develop on top of a software stack that includes ReactJS, Redux, NodeJs, TypeScript, and Scala. We continuously evaluate and adopt new open source technologies to solve customer needs. 

Work extensively with serverless architecture. You will have opportunities to gain experience with GCP, Terraform, BigQuery and other cloud services. 

Apply Agile Methodologies. You will work in an Agile environment, teams that follow agile principles can execute projects faster along with improving the quality of the overall deliverables.

Learn about Structured Finance. You will learn about the participants, terminology, and mechanics of Structured Finance. You will have an exclusive view into how messy data can be transformed to enable our customers to generate actionable insights.

A well-rounded engineer. You have at least five (5) years of professional programming experience with Scala/Java/C# and a deep appreciation for engineering fundamentals. You understand the importance of writing tests, designing systems for long term maintainability, and evaluating both sides of common engineering considerations.

A Cloud Enthusiast. You have at least three (3) years of professional programming experience designing, building, and productionalizing data processing systems on the Google Cloud Platform. You understand the internals and the operational complexities of managing a Dataproc Spark cluster. 

Interested in both engineering and finance. You are excited to learn more about the intricacies of Structured Finance. You are adept at learning on the job and unafraid to dive into technical topics in finance and marry that with your engineering knowledge.

• Familiarity with BigQuery, Kubernettes
• Familiarity with Git and Github Actions
• Familiarity with Typescript, React, Redux, Node.js, GraphQL

In good faith our salary range for this role is $165,000 - $185,000 but are not tied to it. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience, expertise, and other business considerations.
