Job Description

Equifax Workforce Solutions has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Analytical Engineer within the Data & Analytics organization. This person will be responsible for driving analytics that support sales enablement, marketing, and product development in a state of the art analytics cloud environment. While this will focus heavily on back end data integrations and data pipelining, there will be some front end analytics work as well, including reporting and building out dashboards and visualizations.

What you'll do
  • Design end-to-end Big Data pipeline solutions, using SQL, Python and Airflow
  • Develop innovative analytical solutions that drive actionable insights to enrich a variety of revenue driving functions such as sales enablement, market penetration, product strategy, and M&A data analysis activities
  • Take consultative approach to data projects and artfully articulate the analysis to non-technical audiences
  • Take ownership of delivering quality projects to the business, applying rigor to business requirements, design, and aftercare of the solution when deployed
  • Utilize Equifax's diverse data sources to craft solutions using various techniques through the most appropriate open source and/or proprietary tooling
  • Quickly come up to speed on the key drivers of our business and drive meaningful analyses with clear business impact


What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of work experience in identifying, gathering, transforming and analyzing data within and across database platforms (SQL, Python)
  • 3+ years of work experience in building, loading, transforming (ETL) and analyzing data within and across database platforms and other data stores is required.
  • 2+ years' experience working with Airflow to build Big Data pipelines
  • 2+ years' experience working in a cloud environment (GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • 2+ years' experience working with visualization software such as Tableau, Data Studio, Python, or other business intelligence tools


What could set you apart
  • Work experience in the SaaS industry driving sales or marketing functions
  • Experience working with Spark or PySpark
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable discipline or experience
  • Work experience building, loading, transforming, and analyzing data within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other similar cloud environment
  • Work experience with regulated data
