Axogen is hiring for a Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager!

Job Summary of the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager 

The Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager reports to the Director of Communications and Patient Marketing and serves as the editor-in-chief and lead creative strategist. This position brings focus to creating stories and content experiences that are useful to our audiences, creatively told, uniquely delivered, and moves them to act.  Responsible for translating complex problems and ideas into compelling creative concepts and communications, this position delivers unique brand stories and campaigns for publication across multiple channels and audiences to drive meaningful engagement and utilization of products and services to meet business objectives. 

Requirements of the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Design, or a related field required 
  • Master’s degree preferred 
  • Minimum 10 years in marketing in the biotech/healthcare industry, creative strategy and/or marketing strategy, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, managing marketing program budgets, and project management with a blend of agency and in-house marketing experience 
  • Enthusiastic about building, transforming and continuing to innovate customer engagement marketing strategies
  • Compelling and effective communication skills, persuasive storyteller, and a big-picture thinker
  • Experience using marketing automation/CRM/email marketing software 
  • Experience with website optimization and strategy 
  • Experience designing, implementing, and executing projects which involve numerous visual elements, stages, and stakeholders 
  • Experience and/or familiarity with design, prototyping and creative tools and systems; Adobe CC – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; and video production 
  • Experience with workflow and digital asset management tools
  • Willing to travel, up to 35% of the time to respond to the needs of customers and the organization. 

Responsibilities of the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager 

The specific duties of the Sr. Brand and Creative Content Strategy Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and execution of company’s content strategy and editorial calendar. Translate strategies into planning, execution, and optimization of messaging across multiple channels and audiences.  
  • Design, build, and manage a comprehensive editorial calendar for multiple market development areas and customer segments 
  • Work with a variety of stakeholders to develop a common understanding of scenarios and customer journeys--- create, review, and gain consensus around strategies, standards, and topics to ensure the strategy effectively “hits the mark” on positioning and message 
  • Develop repeatable process workflows for campaign, editorial calendar and creative asset development, that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly 
  • Define creative and digital processes that support project needs and create workflow efficiencies; identify opportunities to grow and enhance digital and creative capabilities 
  • Promote content strategy importance and awareness and drive best practices within the company 
  • Articulate and evangelize audience-centric thinking and design rationale to internal stakeholders. 
  • Communicate technical and clinically focused information in creative, engaging and interesting messages and narratives that drive customer adoption and revenue objectives 
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to support internal asset creation when possible

Compensation

The anticipated base wage or salary range for this position is $104,236 - $130,295.

The anticipated range for target compensation in the form of an annual bonus of 15% of base.

Axogen is on a hybrid work schedule at some facilities, with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
