Job Summary:

The Sr. Brand Marketing Analyst will provide project management and creative development support of marketing programs, campaigns and mass media assets for multiple NRG retail electricity brands. The role supports development, coordination and delivery of brand tools and requests. This role also collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders and works closely with several internal teams including content, marketing channels, business teams, legal/regulatory, external agencies, and operations to ensure alignment. The position reports to the Brand Marketing Manager.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with development of creative, timelines, and schedules for mass media assets with partner agency: ads, videos, landing pages, interactive units, etc.
  • Assist with management of external creative resources/agencies to oversee content development.
  • Manage creative development for internal creative assets for mass campaigns: landing pages, home page banners, social and blogs.
  • Provide assistance on development of branding tools/resources: positioning, devices, platform, personas and audience target/segmentation.
  • Develop and ensure materials align with the brand strategy. This includes content, advertising and point of purchase materials ensuring the brand guidelines are met.
  • Determine areas to better leverage a campaign across multiple marketing channels and ensure creative and messaging is synergistic with all communications.
  • Monitor marketing output and provide recommendations for optimal user engagement, including changes to priority, design, content, structure, and functionality.
  • Deliver relevant campaign reports and present insights to keep larger organization abreast of marketing activities.
  • Website content audits and maintenance for respective brands.
  • Must think about consumer engagement and overall customer experience and is an advocate for the consumer.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, business, competitors and brand, helping to analyze market/competitive trends to recommend actions to improve growth.

Working Conditions:

  • Open office environment on office days (hybrid segmentation)
  • Some overtime required as special projects arise
  • Travel (5%)

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree required

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in marketing, advertising, account planning, brand management or related field
  • Excellent creative thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with task and deadline orientation
  • Ability to ensure brand message, look and feel are consistent across all channels for multiple brands
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
  • Strong relationship-building & interpersonal skills; collaborate across departments and organizations
  • Strong understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Familiarity with sales lifecycle and understands business needs/objectives
  • Ability to coordinate with diverse work groups
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to multitask and work successfully in a matrix organization with competing priorities
  • Willing to jump in wherever help is needed
  • Experience with subscription-based industry (electricity, cable, internet, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with managing multiple brands is a plus
  • Desire to make a difference for the environment is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field is preferred
