Sr. Business Analyst
Redwood City, CA
Salary Range: $128,000 – 165,000 USD
Poshmark, Inc., is hiring for the following role in Redwood City, CA: Sr. Business Analyst to develop a deep understanding of Poshmark business metrics by partnering with key business stakeholders to identify, measure and monitor trends.Â
Responsibilities
Analyze internal data systems and reporting systems to monitor performance of business and marketplace through application of statistical techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, or time series forecasting; Provide analytics support and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders and partners;Contribute to business analytics projects and improvements by working on analyses, investigations, and north star metrics for shopping experience team; Develop processes and identify actionable insights to thoroughly review QA data; Collaborate with key business stakeholders and cross functional partners; Monitor existing metrics, analyze data, and collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for improvement utilizing big data in ecommerce or social platform; and Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights through BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field;
- Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation;
- Position also requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: SQL, R, Tableau, and Microsoft Office; analyze business problems and provide actionable insights using Big Query; creation of models to identify statistical relationships; Python or Looker; and design, execute, and analyze AB tests.
