Sr. Business Analyst 4824

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you’ll work on an agile scrum team gathering requirements, writing and refining user stories and epics, performing QA testing on user stories, and collaborating with stakeholders in a federal space to deliver new features and functionality to a suite of web applications over two-week sprints to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do: 

• Attend agile development ceremonies.
• Meet with developers, Scrum Masters, and Product Owners.
• Collaborate with an agile scrum team to define and deliver new features and functionality to a suite of web applications across two-week sprints.

What you’ll need to succeed: 

• 3+ years as a business analyst in an agile software development environment.
• 3+ years writing user stories in Jira or a similar program.
  
• 3+ experience performing functional QA testing in support of user stories you have written.
  
• Excellent communication skills and are practiced in collaborating with many different stakeholders to reach a consensus and deliver value.
• Experience building out and tracking epics for the delivery of new functionality in a web application.
• Experience reporting on the progress of epics to leadership, communicating the impacts of progress.
  
• Previous experience collaborating with developers, testers, and UX design specialists to refine requirements and provide inputs into artifacts such as wireframes and requirements documentation.
  
• Am understanding of basic elements of web development, including HTML/CSS/JS.
  
• The ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability.
