JOB DETAILS
Sr. Business Analyst 
Long Island, NY
6-12 Months

Local - ideally would like someone who can work onsite 2 days per week in LIC office
Likely to extend based on performance and business need
2 interview rounds
ASAP
Will be working on Indirect Procurement projects but MUST have IT Experience along with Procurement/Supply Chain experience
The ideal candidate would have worked on ARIBA or SAP implementation projects prior
This team works with SAP, Ariba, and Coupa --- the candidate should have experience with one of these tools
IT background needed
Must be able to gather requirements, translate those requirements to technical requirements, understand the processes around indirect procurement, create process flows and designs
8+ yrs experience
Strong communicator

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills and Qualifications
Technical knowledge of ERP modules and functionalities related to indirect procurement (eg SAP ECC, ARIBA)
Cloud computing / SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies
Strong capabilities in PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, Excel, JIRA, Confluence
Big Data Analytics, Data Architecture & Modeling (Power BI)
Experience working with (or ability to quickly learn & master) a variety of technologies
Experienced in traditional SDLC and Agile frameworks
Functional Skills
Supply Chain Indirect Procurement knowledge
Functional knowledge of indirect procurement business processes
Business requirements definition and management (Business Case development)
Ability to tie together solutions across the systems
Understanding of future technologies
Ability to simplify & standardize complex concepts / processes
Problem solving / analytical thinking
Ability to draft UAT test scripts, and coordinate/support UAT script execution
Solid understanding of IT group operating model, including enterprise architecture, development lifecycle, tools, methods, and processes
Independent and creative analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and confirm understanding.

Key roles and responsibilities
Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in functional areas to bridge business requirements and IT solutions - Serve as a functional/domain expert on the project team
Translates business domain understanding and context to technical capabilities for technical architects and development teams
Accountable for collaborating with business stakeholders to understand business requirements, identifying solution gaps and available capabilities, and defining solutions to meet the business need.
Manage Stakeholder’s concerns regarding technical issues for their areas
Participates in the design and accountable for creation associated documentation (requirements documents, use cases, user stories, workflows, wireframes, and mockups within traditional SDLC and Agile frameworks)
Support prototype development efforts
Work as a technical support and liaison to designated IT personnel to provide clarification, support and feedback on enhancement requests and regular updates/releases; adhere to release schedules.
Support collaborative system and data design sessions with the user community, technical architecture resources, and development resources.
Help coordinate functional and user acceptance testing
Supports Business Teams during testing and implementation phases
Support the adoption of best practices in the areas of technology integration, cloud computing, managed services, process improvement, technology innovation and implementation
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to shape and ensure alignment with EA guardrails, standards, and patterns
Participates for examining the current systems architecture and working with business and technical staff to recommend solutions that result in more effective systems
Stay abreast of current trends/technologies in consumer space and be aware of technology initiatives from other best in class retailers and technology companies globally
Contributes to development of project plans.

IT Business Analyst is key business interfacing role that has technical and business domain specific expertise and
provides oversight and coordination across portfolio of processes and technical solutions being developed in Supply Chain Indirect Procurement domain.
Work closely with Supply Chain Function/Solution Architect in communicating and translating business requirements. They develop, maintain, and communicate processes and standard practices related to the high-level design, development, and implementation of solutions across portfolio of projects in the domain. Additionally, they work with the business to understand the requirements, conduct system demo, and test the solution, and support Business Teams during implementation.
