Sr. Business Development Executive
Job Description
Technossus is looking for a highly driven Senior Business Development Executive with experience successfully selling IT Professional Services and/or Consulting. The SBDE is responsible for driving sales by engaging, developing, and closing new customers. The SBDE will have a proven process for identifying, approaching, and engaging key buying influencers at target customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, approaching, and engaging new customers for Technossus services.
- Developing business at new clients nationwide utilizing a consultative approach to identify and evaluate client needs, and opportunities for Technossus to help develop and implement solutions
- Execution against business development objectives to build and grow new revenue.
- Understanding of Technossus’ services offerings and the market for such offerings within the region and vertical markets we serve
- Preparation and delivery of accurate and timely documents such as RFPs, SOWs, and MSAs
- Staying well informed on industry changes, participate where possible in professional organizations directly involved in the market
- Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline within Hubspot
- Assisting in the accuracy and timeliness of engagement paperwork and invoices
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience with business development/sales of technology professional services and/or similar experience with technology sales
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for building a business, exhibiting a personal sense of urgency and capacity to overcome obstacles
- Experienced in building relationships with CXOs and business decision-makers
- Passionate about sales and technology and skilled at leading teams through complex technology solution sales
- An entrepreneurial individual who thrives on, and has demonstrated the ability to build and grow from the ground up a successful and dynamic practice
- Ability to respond effectively and quickly to clients' needs and issues
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and communicate complex concepts/business issues verbally and in writing to clients, consultants, and management
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and a proven ability to develop business relationships
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Outstanding ability to work within a team sales environment
- Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and leadership skills required; strong command of the English language
- Above-average ability to use the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); email software such as Outlook; and sales tracking software (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail, follow-up, and organization skills
- Preferred industry experience: Healthcare, BioSciences, Real Estate Data, Mortgage Services
- The preferred location is Southern California.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit; walk; talk and hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person, over telephone, and/or video conference.

While performing the duties of this role the employee is required to maintain a professional and positive attitude with clients and colleagues. Benefits
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $125,000.00 and $135,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
