Sr. Business Intelligence Developer

Job Description

The Mid-Level BI developer will be part of the IT-Reporting Services Team. The Reporting Services team works very closely with all aspects of data and reports, both internal and external. We are looking for a BI developer to build scalable, high-performing financial data warehouse, reporting and analytics solutions. In this role, your work will broadly influence the company's data consumers, executives and analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis, architecture, design, and development of financial data warehouse and business intelligence solutions
• Work with Financial Analysts/Business leaders to gather data and metrics requirements to drive analytic projects which will help solve complex challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related quantitative discipline with experience is required
• 5 years of experience designing, developing, testing and implementing scalable, high-performing financial data warehouse and BI solutions
• Good hands-on Experience creating reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc data analysis using BI/Analytical tools like Tableau, Power BI
• Experience with ETL and Data Blending and Transformation tools such as Pentaho Data Integrator, Talend Data Integration, Informatica, Data services is a plus
• Advanced SQL query writing skills required
• Talent for storytelling through qualitative and quantitative data analytics
• Familiarity with accounting systems best practices, development methodologies, controls, and procedures
• Good understanding of technology and industry and able to make decisions on the best technology for integrated solutions
• Proven ability to communicate with business and technical audiences at all levels, including demonstrated success influencing senior leaders and decision makers
