A Little About Us:
The Y!Eng Business Operations and Strategy Team partners across Yahoo Engineering leaders to build scalable operations aligned with strategic priorities, clear portfolio governance, ownership, and decision making, as well as develop business insights and drive employee engagement. We need delivery minded-leaders like you to shape how Yahoo Engineering evolves its operational processes, with a bias towards action.
A Lot About You:
As a Senior Business Operations Analyst, you will support the execution and deployment of initiatives to drive accountability and alignment of business operations across Yahoo Engineering. You'll make an impact by driving priorities aligned to engineering organizational goals, reporting, and communications.
Responsibilities:

• Solve problems and identify opportunities through the use of analytics, domain expertise, and critical thinking
• Support hiring approval process weekly via data processing, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
• Support stakeholders in understanding their line of site hiring and contractor spend based on their open requisitions, SOWs, and budget plan
• Support stakeholders with what-if analysis related to hiring and contractor spend
• Design and support automation of data processing and reporting for business operations & strategy for Yahoo Engineering
• Coordinate budget planning for annual internship program across Yahoo Engineering
• Partner with Finance, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition on a variety of regular and ad hoc projects
• Identify and propose changes to current and new business operations processes, and collaborate with others to enable adoption of these changes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field
• 5+ years work experience in business operations, data analysis, and process improvement
• Strong self-motivation and ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and management
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, and people skills
• Familiarity designing dashboards and pivot tables to present data-driven results to internal stakeholders in a clear and efficient ways using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
• Experience using data analytics & reporting software (ie Anaplan, Looker, etc.)
• Experience building solutions to automate the retrieval and transformation of data between and within systems
• Experience using SQL to retrieve data and/or build reports (nice to have)

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
