This Senior Business Systems Analyst will have the opportunity to partner with Life Science and Pharmaceutical clients, to understand their business needs and collaborate with them to ensure those needs are met. Ultimately, this position will do this by advancing our client's custom data and integration abilities, which will lead to the successful commercialization of their products.

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you'll also provide expertise and systems support in developing and enhancing business systems utilized by pharmaceutical clients for planning and reporting. These systems provide commercial professionals data, which is a technical foundational component in IQVIA's overall strategy to deliver insight to its customers. With this role's contributions to a critical area of our business it will be directly visible to the senior management team.

Essential Functions

• Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and requirements.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
• Understand internal processes and document appropriate Standard Operation Procedures and training materials as needed.
• Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Five (5) years systems analysis experience Req
• Ability to pull and manage data (SQL, Excel, Vizio, Tableau, etc.)
• Knowledge of business-wide applications (e.g. third party software and internal operational applications, etc.) or IQVIA client facing applications and products. (Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills.
• Thorough knowledge of IQVIA data and current systems is a plus.
