Sr. Business Systems Specialist (Finance/Accounting)

This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

Support finance and accounting systems at a very dynamic and transformational time with a recent change of financial suites.

The Sr Business Systems Specialist assists and contributes to the design, development, and deployment of business systems to meet division goalsand objectives. This role will act as a bridge between departments to help IT members understand business objectives and requirements, as well as help stakeholders utilize the full functionality of the systems available.

Work on projects that relate to system configuration, information security, and other updates. Ensure information accuracy for audit purposes. Perform inside of a highly collaborative team that solves problems in a collective and cooperative manner.

What you do

• Review changes and recommend improvements
• Implement configuration changes
• Review and collaborate on documented requirements
• Execute changes according to change management protocol
• Operationally support third party application system(s)
• Validate system changes
• Analyze anomalies within the package system
• Ensure the system supports the business process
• Develop and manage the reporting from production systems and data lake
• Other duties as assigned

What you bring

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• 1-3 years of related experience required. Relevant experience could include experience working within finance systems, experience in system configuration, experience as a business system admin, or any combination of the same.
• Experience working with Oracle (Fusion ERP, EPM, etc.) desired.
• Report and analytics development experience in tools such as Power BI, SmartView, FRS, Dataiku, Excel, Cognos, or Tableau desired
