Position Overview
The Senior Channel Sales Manager is responsible for the sales development and growth of assigned C&D Technologies βgo to marketβ partners including Distributors, VARs, and Manufacturers Representatives.
Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned including the following:
β’ Execute on the Strategic Plan for our Distributors, VARs and Manufacturers Representatives
β’ Provide superior customer service for our Distributors, VARs and Manufacturers Representatives
β’ Collaborate with Strategic/National Account managers and prioritize growth markets and accounts
β’ Develop a pipeline of new opportunities with assigned channel partners that supports the North American Stationary market focus
β’ Recruit new VARs and Distributors to support the long-term strategy
β’ Organize training and onboarding for new Channel partners
β’ Maintain and update contracts and agreements, collaborating with legal and finance as needed
β’ Innovate and execute channel growth-oriented channel programs
β’ Attend industry relevant trade shows to drive C&D sales
β’ Prepare and present quarterly business reviews
β’ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features and benefits
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
β’ Direct Experience and Proven track record of sales success in DC Power/Mission Critical Environments for a minimum 3-5 years
β’ Direct experience with channel partners and/or selling with/through third parties
β’ Goal-oriented, persuasive, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team to implement business development initiatives.
β’ Displays a positive attitude to ensure customer satisfaction
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to apply to contract negotiations and face to face presentations
β’ Ability to travel (up to 50%)
