The Senior Cloud Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for delivering innovative cloud infrastructure solutions and technologies and solving complex problems in multiple disciplines; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), DevSecOps, Serverless, Disaster Recovery, business continuity, security, compute, storage, and backup. You must be able to work independently and within the team and be self-motivated, and capable of leading and mentoring other engineers on the team.
You will be a part of the System Services and Cloud Engineering team and report to the Senior Infrastructure Manager responsible for Infrastructure Systems, Storage, Backup and Cloud platforms. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead functional teams and infrastructure projects spanning hybrid on-premises and cloud technologies
- Solve complex infrastructure problems and take a broad perspective to identify innovative and sustainable solutions
- Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve processes and services
- Engage global IT leaders and engineers to define global standards and technologies
- Socialize, communicate, and influence global adoption and adherence to standards
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree in field with 9+ years' experience OR master's degree in field with 7+ years' experience OR Doctoral Degree in field with 4+ years' experience AND experience working in System Administration/Technical Operations/DevOps
- Experience with managing projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Require depth and breadth of expertise in cloud security and network disciplines, compute, storage, and backup in cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Advanced understanding and experience in application migration methodologies to the cloud
- Advanced skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud computing systems, including software and hardware components and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- IoT and Machine learning
- Backup and Recovery tools (Cohesity, N2WS and oracle RMAN) AND storage systems (NetApp), and Hybrid Storage technologies

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $93-$151K. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
