Primary Responsibilities
The Sr. Cloud Software Team Lead performs all the activities involved in managing and supporting cloud based IoT applications and systems used by Sub-Zero. They will lead a team of software developers to review, analyze, and develop systems including configurations, testing, debugging and deployments. A strong understanding of Azure must be possessed.
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of software applications
- Provide estimates and report status updates for software development projects
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are documented sufficiently
- Implement and monitor development standards and processes
- Maintain and enhance performance of applications
- Provide leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Participate in the strategic vision and alignment of enterprise IoT systems and their respective roadmaps.
- Conduct research into software application products and services
- Make recommendations for support process improvement and implement changes.
- Assist with prioritization and scheduling of all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.
- Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
- Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
