As a Sr. Cloud/DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll work within our Client Solutions Group team on R&D and AI/ML focused cloud platforms, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support DevSecOps tech challenges and proposals with team members.
  • Provide support to develop new and innovative automated solutions and scripts to achieve sprint tasks.
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure like security policies, implementing security controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards.
  • Automate, deploy, and test processes using modern DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform by creating and maintaining automated build and deployment pipelines, testing and monitoring systems, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of the infrastructure.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, IT operations, security, and business stakeholders to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the cloud infrastructure and to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices related to cloud security, automation, and DevOps.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and security of the cloud infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them to develop their skills and become more effective contributors to the team.
  • Be responsible for the documenting processes and procedures and sharing your knowledge with others.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technology field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) and a minimum of 5 years of experience with designing and developing DevOps solution architecture.
  • Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or other cloud providers and experience with developing and configuring CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Github, Gitlab, etc...
  • Experience with building infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and with containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, AWS ECS, OpenShift, Kubernetes).
  • Experience deploying code and supporting the SDLC at all stages and working in a high-paced, structured SDLC processes including configuration and release management to release into production environments.
  • An active Secret level security clearance OR clearable to at least this level.
