Sr. Communications Program Manager
Job Description
Overview:
Sr. Communications Program Manage of Communications will lead a team responsible for expanding the HUD survey user base, developing survey data products, and performing targeted outreach to current survey data users. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of marketing and communications principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expand HUD Survey User Base:
- Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to increase the HUD survey user base.
- Utilize social media marketing techniques to reach various user groups effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify new opportunities for user acquisition.
- Develop Survey Data Products:
- Create factsheets, infographics, and other data products tailored to the needs of specific user groups.
- Work closely with data analysts and researchers to ensure accuracy and relevance of data products.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of data products across various channels.
- Perform Targeted Outreach and Assistance:
- Develop, produce, and schedule new live or recorded webinars to engage with users.
- Update existing webinars to reflect the latest survey data and trends.
- Publish messages for the HUD housing survey user community to keep them informed.
- Write and publish short articles about HUD's housing surveys to increase awareness and engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media marketing and digital communications.
- Knowledge of housing issues and surveys is a plus.
