Sr. Communications Specialist

A day in the life!   

 You will be responsible for the following:

• Plan, create, and execute external content across a variety of mediums including public relations campaigns, bylined articles, thought leadership, company website, and social media
• Lead strategic execution of media inquiries and interview requests
• Demonstrate success by analyzing and communicating results on a consistent basis
• Craft original content for our global teammate base across multiple channels, including the company intranet, corporate announcements, company meetings and presentations, videos, and social media
• Maintain effective internal relationships across the business to proactively identify trends, develop messaging, support flawless execution of work, and optimize processes to further meet/exceed WellSky standards
• Proactively detect and leverage emerging internal and external communications, marketing, and industry trends, and use this knowledge to recommend effective communications strategies

Do you have what it takes? 

Required Experience: 

• 7-10 years of corporate communication experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Proven experience in the preparation and execution of measurable, results-oriented communications plans
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional writing and editing skills that apply to multiple, varied audiences
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
