Sr. Consultant (Data)

As Sr. Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping clients solve complex business problems by leveraging technology. What You Do:

• Analyze client requirements and propose technical solutions that meet those needs.
• Design technical solutions that meet client requirements.
• Develop and implement technical solutions that meet client needs which includes programming, testing, and deploying solutions.
• Provide technical expertise, explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Escalate any potential pitfalls or issues early.
• Continue learning; stay up-to-date with new technologies and be able to recommend new solutions to clients.
• Mentor and coach team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience designing and developing components for modern data platforms using either Azure or AWS technologies.
• 5+ years’ experience working with data persistence, developing database schemas, stored procedures/functions, performance optimization and both transactional and analytical database design techniques
• 5+ years’ experience working with enterprise reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, QuickSight, PowerBI, SSRS)
• 5+ years’ experience working with ETL/ELT and data transformation technologies (e.g. Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, DMS, SSIS, Informatica, etc.)
• Proficient in designing and Data Architectures which include Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, and/or Sementic / Application Layer
• Experience designing, implementing, and operating self-service reporting solutions.
• Experience working with AI technologies and a solid understanding of various machine learning development platforms, processes, with an ability to drive from conception to outcome.
• Some level of familiarity with other development languages and platforms (e.g. Python, Rust, Go, Ruby).

• Proficient knowledge of software development processes and best practices, ideally using SCRUM / Agile practices.

• Prefer bachelor's degree in computer science/computer engineering

Benefits

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $130,000k - 165,000k. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
