Sr. Content Strategy Analyst

Forbes Vetted is looking for a Senior Content Strategy Analyst who is passionate about the intersection of data and content. You will be focused on providing data and insights to the commerce editorial team, that will help optimize content and drive more revenue across the entire business. The ideal candidate has experience working with affiliate data and is curious and enthusiastic about improving key metrics through data. The Senior Content Strategy Analyst will report into the Executive Strategy Editor. 

This is a remote role with an option to commute to the Jersey City Forbes office if desired.

What You'll Do:

• Provide proactive recommendations to the editorial team to help them drive more revenue. 
• Determine a weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence for insights, and adjust insights and processes as needed based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Create a system for managing inbound/adhoc requests from stakeholders and ensure quality of analyses provided.
• Lead data and insights reporting for tentpole events like Amazon Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday, including providing real-time data and conducting post-mortems.
• Build relationships with stakeholders in all areas of the business, and maintain periodical check-ins for alignment & sharings regarding the content strategy.
• Provide digestible, clean presentations for data requests, analyses, & solve custom questions using Looker front-end tools, such as Explores, Custom Expressions, & advanced charting
• Manage and mentor a small team of analysts and help them develop new skills.
• Collaborate with the BI team to suggest new data captures and new data features, and create a shared understanding of problems the commerce team is facing, so that technical solutions can be engineered to overcome those challenges.
• Identify opportunities for Looker drill-downs and unique insights requiring customized LookML, and send those requests to BI to ensure delivery of helpful data products for stakeholders which evolve our business & decision-making capacity.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Strong analytical skills and a love for data
• Experience turning data into content insights and recommendations required
• Passionate about sharing information and an ability to explain technical details to non-technical teammates
• Direct experience with affiliate/eCommerce a bonus
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Gsheets, Looker (or another BI Tool). Python, R, SQL experience a plus

The annual base salary range for this role is $85,000 - $110,000
