About the Role and Team
At Amplitude, we're on a mission to revolutionize the digital analytics market and build an iconic brand. We're currently seeking an Sr. Copywriter to join our dynamic Brand & Content team. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling marketing assets for our blog, campaigns, and brand materials.
As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with stakeholders from Campaign, Growth, and Product Marketing to translate briefs and messaging frameworks into engaging content that reflects Amplitude's unique brand voice and values.
 As a Sr. Copywriter, you will:Â
- Develop high-quality, on-brand content across various channels and formats, including ebooks, reports, web pages, blog posts, email, and ads.
- Ensure consistency with Amplitude's brand guidelines, tone, and voice in all written materials.
- Understand the pivotal role of content in driving awareness and engagement throughout the marketing funnel.
- Create captivating copy that educates and converts Amplitude's target audiences effectively.
- Source, interview, and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to enrich content.
- Manage the editorial calendar for our blog, oversee review cycles, and coordinate posting schedules.
- Propose diverse and engaging blog topics covering thought leadership, campaign messaging, product updates, and company culture.
You'll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a B2B environment.
- Exceptional editorial, writing, and communication skills, with a knack for simplifying complex concepts.
- Background or degree in writing or editing, coupled with a portfolio showcasing versatile writing abilities across different platforms.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated proficiency in organization, prioritization, and project management, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Up-to-date knowledge of content trends, copywriting techniques, and SEO best practices.
- Comfortable using data to analyze content performance and inform future strategies.
- Experience producing a wide range of high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous work within a tech brand or in-house content and creative team.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).

Based on Colorado law, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Colorado. Colorado range: $101,000 - $151,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in New York City, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in New York City. New York City salary range: $112,000 - $168,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in San Francisco Bay Area of California. Salary range: $112,000 - $168,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in California, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in California outside of the San Francisco Bay Area. California salary range: $101,000 - $151,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington state. Washington salary range: $101,000 - $151,000 total target cash (inclusive of bonus or commission)
Based on legislation in Washington state, the following details are for individuals who will work for Amplitude in Washington only: unlimited PTO, 10 to 13 holidays annually (will vary), medical dental and vision PPO and CDHP plans. Finally, a company sponsored 401(k) retirement plan.
