Sr. Credentialing Associate (Remote)
Job Description
Who we are
Path is a healthtech company dedicated to making mental health care work for everyone. Path takes a patient-first approach, where treatment is more accessible, personalized, and effective. With Path, it’s easy to find a high-quality therapist or psychiatric clinician who accepts insurance and is actively accepting new patients.
What we’re solving
Over 65 million Americans have a treatable mental health issue — that’s 1 in 5 people. Today it’s difficult to find a provider, and for those with complicated conditions, it’s nearly impossible to find coordinated care. We’re here to fix this.
Our Mission
Path's mission is to make mental healthcare work for everyone.
The RoleÂ
We’re looking for a Senior Credentialing Associate to help us build an efficient and scalable Credentialing Department that will support Path’s explosive growth. We are seeking someone with credentialing experience and a strong ability to learn new systems and tools quickly (like Salesforce, Zendesk, Airtable, and more!). Most importantly, we need someone excited to work with a talented, motivated, and supportive team to change the mental healthcare landscape.Â
By increasing the number of providers we can bring into our network, this role will play an integral part in expanding the number of patients Path is able to serve. The Senior Credentialing Associate will be a go-to expert for a critical business process and will work with other Path team members across multiple departments.Â
You WillÂ
Review CAQH profiles for new providers applying to the Path network
Use Salesforce and Zendesk to run and manage the end-to-end Credentialing process, track provider progress, problem-solve, interact with other teams, and more
Work with our Credentialing Verification Organization (CVO) and our Medical Director to get provider applications approved
Communicate directly with providers about credentialing requirements and troubleshooting more complex credentialing cases
Be a go-to credentialing expert and resource for Credentialing team members, the broader Path team, providers, and partners (our CVO, payers)
Support with figuring out new state/payer requirements for credentialing and how they’ll impact what information we need from providers
Prepare for quarterly credentialing committee meetings and annual health plan audits
Manage monthly monitoring reports
Collaborate with our Credentialing Manager and the broader Provider Operations team (including Provider Growth, Credentialing, Onboarding, Payer Enrollment, Billing, and Provider Success) to continue improving the provider and patient experience at Path
Implement process improvements within Credentialing and report on results
You AreÂ
Must-HavesÂ
Prior credentialing experience (3+ years experience in credentialing)
Provider-first mindset
Extreme attention to detail
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
Fluency with Google Suite
Ability to learn, adapt and thrive quickly in a dynamic environment, particularly when it comes to using new technical systems (such as Salesforce and Zendesk)
Prior credentialing experience (3+ years experience in credentialing)
Familiarity with CAQH, NCQA guidelines, and state-by-state Credentialing requirements
Experience partnering with Billing and Payer Enrollment teams
Excitement about joining a fast-growing team
Preferred
Prior experience attending or managing Credentialing Committee meetings (either as a participant or a manager)
Familiarity with Salesforce and Zendesk
