What We Need:
Sole owner to site-specific customer relations. Provides new and existing customers with various services in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, suggestions and complaints while adhering to SOX and ISO requirements to drive a best-in-class customer experience. Responsibilities are within the Customer Support / Operations Function as a generalist.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Directly manages customer relationships, whether by phone or email, from start to finish including customer consultation, quotation, order management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Executes general customer services duties including but not limited to; purchase orders, quality notifications, experimental orders, order entry, date management, sample shipments, and order updates.
- Works directly with operations to optimize scheduling, production and deliveries.
- Manages a subset of POs for customer owned raw materials.
- Participates in routine customer facing reviews of purchase orders.
- Communicates commitments and updates, clearly and effectively, with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintains a working knowledge and sufficient technical knowledge for all products of the division to properly advise customers
- Understands and drives to exceed company objectives, KPIs and goals.
- Demonstrated good judgement and decision-making skills to achieve or exceed objectives and goals
- Is able to identify barriers to order workflows and help drive resolution to problems to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.
- May own export paperwork and documentation for international customers.
- Works effectively with customers and internal teammates to ensure relevant customer information is up to date and accurate.
- Executes purchasing tasks to coordinate delivery of customer-provided materials.
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- 5 years of Customer Service experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
Desired Knowledge, Skills Abilities
- Associates or Bachelors degree
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Experience working for a manufacturing company
- Understanding of international trade compliance requirements
