Sr. Data Analyst - SQL, Python, Finance

We're looking for a Sr Data Analyst with the ability to assist the business Product Owner in the agile methodology, documentation of requirements, creation of stories and acceptance criteria, and the profiling and analysis of data in both the raw source and final solution states.

Duration : 12- Months (contract)

Location : Beaverton, OR REMOTE (PST hours)

Responsibilities:

• you'll be working within the Finance Analytics Squad to execute on engineering future state solutions supporting client's transition to our new state of art Sales and Financial ERP.
• You will be gather requirements and design data flows to intake financial transactions, develop and test complex business rules for cost attribution, and identify and model data against additional product and customer attribution to support financial optimization and deep analytics.
• Technically, this means you'll be responsible for building the financial analytic capabilities that transform client to meet the challenges of a mixed retail and wholesale future.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with an emphasis on business reporting and analytics required
• Experience with Financial data and systems

• Strong ability to lead and/or work on cross-functional teams and provide project management support
• Experience in definition of new measures, and the translation of business goals into quantitative metrics and reporting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with multiple business stakeholders on firm deadlines

• Able to influence and communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with team members and business stakeholders
• Strong experience in relational SQL and Database Analysis
• Experience in Python, Spark, Airflow, etc.
• Experience with Cloud Data Stacks (AWS, Snowflake, etc)
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Strong understanding of solution and technical design
• Strong problem solving and analytical mindset
