Job Description
As a growing company, we are looking for a Data Engineer to help us optimize our ETL pipelines and data observability. You will be a necessary member of an amazing team that is using the latest web and data technologies to develop the FHIR API standard to access patient electronic health record data for the digital healthcare industry.
You will:- Develop scalable data platforms and ETL pipelines
- Run test cases and code reviews to improve data quality
- Work with the analytics team to build and implement deployment processes for both internal and external analytics software and products
- Work with a team to bring patient healthcare data together to affect future health outcomes
- Minimum 5-7 years of data engineering experience working with data from multiple 3rd party sources
- Advanced capabilities in Python and SQL
- Experience with AWS technologies such as S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, Athena and IAM
- Experience with databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres, MySQL, both from a user and administrator perspective
- Experience mapping and transforming data
- Experience with data validation and testing
- Experience using Git and other collaborative coding tools
- Experience working with unstructured datasets
- Nice to have:
- Experience with Databricks and Spark
- Experience with healthcare data
