We are looking for a highly skilled Data Engineer who has a passion for data and analytics. Data Engineer will be responsible for data ingestion, scripting and migrations. Data Engineer will be an integral member of IT Data & Architecture team and working very closely with architects, data scientists and software engineers. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality are essential.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of strong experience in SQL and Data Analysis
- 3+ years in development of data pipelines/ETL for data ingestion, data preparation, data integration and data aggregation areas.
- 3+ years of solid experience in Python and Spark
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements
- Deep understanding of data warehouse, data cloud architecture, building data pipelines, and orchestration
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Senior Data Engineer will be involved in building data pipelines at a large scale to enable business teams to work with data and analyze metrics that support and drive the business
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You will partner with cross functional teams to identify opportunities and continuously develop and improve processes for efficiency
- Identify and document standard methodologies, standards, and architecture guidelines
- Ensure solutions are highly usable, scalable, and maintainable
- Perform code and design reviews to ensure performance, maintainability, and standards
You must reside in the United States to be eligible for this position. ( if the position is 100% remote US)
You must reside in Canada to be eligible for this position (if the position is 100% remote Canada)

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $99,000 - $166,000. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
