JOB POSITION: Sr. Data Engineers (2537544)

LOCATION: 400 South 4th Street, Suite 401, Minneapolis, MN 55415

DUTIES: Engage in design, developing, testing, and implementation of Big Data
solutions. Resolve uncertainties of Data Engineers and provide Data Modeling expertise by
authoring Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) SQL
spanning technical stacks. Develop data transformation code (joins, cleansing, derivations, etc.),
data ingestion, and provisioning pipelines. Ingest relational databases using data integration and
transformation tools. Execute automation strategy. Provide code updates to software and
automation tools. Serve as a liaison between the stakeholders and provide insight into potential
innovations and solutions. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members. Utilizes: DDL,
DHML, SQL, Fietran, Mattilion, Sqoop, Streamsets, AWS, Snowflake, Azure, Cloudera,
Databricks, Spark, ElasticSearch, Python, JIRA, Git, Kafka, Java, Pipewrench, PostgreSQL,
Tram, Airflow, Hive, HDFS, Scala, NiFi. May require occasional travel to unanticipated client
sites throughout the United States. Position may include a telecommuting benefit from anywhere
in the United States. Multiple positions open.

REQUIREMENTS: At least a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
a closely related technical field and two (2) years of experience in data engineering (any title),
including building data platforms for big data processing, engaging in model development and
implementation, migrating legacy systems, working with structured and unstructured data, and
utilizing at least 5 of the following tools: Python, Spark, Scala, Kafka, SQL, PostgreSQL, JIRA,
Hive, Sqoop, AWS, Snowflake, Cloudera, Databricks, Pipewrench. May require occasional
travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the United States. Position may include a
telecommuting benefit from anywhere in the United States.
