Position Summary:

The successful Sr Data Informatics Analyst is responsible for providing expertise in the implementation of data and reporting. In this role, you will extract data from a variety of sources, help design and implement analytics programs, create interactive and insightful reports and dashboards, and collaborate with various teams to ensure optimal business intelligence. A successful candidate will be highly motivated, take initiative, and demonstrate ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Data Management

• Interact with key business functions to help map process, align global metric definitions, and identify areas of opportunity for dashboards and metrics to drive business decisions and process improvements.
• Contribute to requirements gathering sessions and clearly document business rules to transform data into reports, charts, dashboards, and presentations.
• Retrieve data from various systems and prepare it for wider consumption
• Perform activities per the Software Development Cycle (Design, Build, Test and Implementation)
• Take initiative to implement new processes to strengthen data accuracy or enhance efficiency
• Able to understand data in whatever format it's presented, and effectively communicate the story it tells

Project Management

• Handle multiple, concurrent projects of moderate or complex scope, prioritize and effectively communicate progress to team members and stakeholders
• Demonstrate effective communication style working with all levels of organizational structure, through multiple departments, and across global sites
• Able to navigate potential ambiguity and provide support and guidance to increase data maturity for the organization
• Proactively identify potential changes in project scope, issues and risks, manage stakeholder expectations, and devise contingency plans

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Expertise of SQL, SQL scripting and database structure
• Tableau development expertise
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python
• Able to adapt quickly to change, and comfortable with ambiguity
• Knowledge of Product Lifecyle Management and Configuration Management is desirable
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years' experience working closely with large & varied data sets
