Job Description

Role Summary

Reporting directly to the Business Analyst Director for ECS, you will:

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Develop SQL queries to analyze our data to support ECS products and services
• Perform peer review and SQL query optimization to enhance execution performance and data quality
• Design and implement data architecture models supporting Business Operations data schemas
• Create data pipelines to automate key business functions and ensure the delivery of critical data for operational oversight
• You will design ETL processes to gather and prepare data from different sources for reporting
• Perform data analysis to support business initiatives and to provide analytical insights that drive strategic decision-making
• Detect trends and patterns in operational data to help resolve operational issues
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics to monitor operational performance
• Communicate data analysis findings to all kinds of stakeholders
• Develop, and present Tableau dashboards to highlight business insights to cross-functional audiences including senior leadership
• Create technical documentation and diagrams including data and process flow diagrams, ER diagrams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field or related coursework and experience
• 5+ years of hands-on SQL development
• 3+ years of Data visualization experience
• Proficiency profiling data, including data discovery, cleansing, and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Apache Airflow
• Experience with GitHub
• Working knowledge of Alteryx
• Experience writing SQL in AWS RedShift
• Working knowledge of Tableau or other data visualization tools
• Scripting experience in Python, R, or similar language

Additional Information

This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
