Sr. Designer

Overview

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Senior Designer will be a key contributor to the success of all brand marketing and omnichannel communications projects. This role will be responsible for the successful creation and management of creative content across a variety of visual disciplines including design, photography, and video for digital and in-store concepts. Our ideal candidate is creatively motivated, strategic, and can thrive in a matrixed, working environment. A love for sneakers is also a plus!

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

• Lead creative concepting for the Foot Locker brands focusing on visual disciplines: design, photography, video and social.

• Manage multiple project timelines and workflow, and plan and organize resources

• Effectively adapt creative concepts across multiple channels, including in-store elements, eCommerce, social media, email and others

• Manage eCommerce photography process, including product detail pages

• Frequently leverage consumer insights to inform relevance and consistency

• Regularly identify and report on visual and marketing trends and make recommendations on evolution and optimization

• Understand and apply the roles of creative planning to define and measure impactful visual creative

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• BA/BS (or equivalent degree) in communications, with a concentration in creative direction, or marketing/advertising

• A minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience (creative industries); agency experience is a plus

• Demonstrates the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing requirements

• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing brand requirements

• Thrives under pressure and possesses a strong collaborative spirit

• Proficiency in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office applications.

• Working knowledge of Digital Asset Management tools such as AEM Assets or similar

• A strong understanding of social media and mobile-first design trends

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $63,000-68,000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
