As a Sr. Development Operations Engineer, you’ll engage with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable delivery of services to better serve our customers. You will be tasked with implementing tooling and practices that improve our continuous delivery and integration processes, as well as improvements to our cloud infrastructure, automation, and monitoring. This role will also play a role in project planning, development of our project roadmap, and knowledge sharing or pairing with fellow team members.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Infrastructure and application incident response
  • Manage, maintain and implement CICD pipelines
  • Monitor environment for performance degradation, faults, alarms, and errors
  • After-hours on-call availability for critical incidents
  • Perform infrastructure changes to support drivers like stakeholder requirements and application performance
  • Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and environments
  • Produce accurate documentation for projects in development

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Helm and applications running in containers
  • Experience with cloud service providers, AWS and GCP preferred
  • Experience troubleshooting SAAS applications and Java Spring Boot micro services
  • Experience managing MySQL databases and Redis clusters
  • Use of Git for version control
  • Experience with the Gradle build tool and building Docker containers
  • Experience writing Terraform modules and IaC
  • Linux troubleshooting experience, proficiency using a terminal
  • Understanding of Bash scripting
  • Desire to implement processes and tooling that enables our developers to deploy code quickly and reliably

Nice to have:

  • Experience with the Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager stack
  • Experience with Google Cloud Build
  • Experience with Python, Go, and Java
