Job Description

TIAA has an opportunity for a Sr. Developer - ServiceNow who will provide support to a wide variety of technically oriented processes within the TIAA ServiceNow environment. The main function for this role will be the implementation and deployment of the Hardware and Software Asset Management Modules (HAM/SAM) on the ServiceNow Platform.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years' experience working in IT, three (3) years of software development experience, the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across our enterprise and familiarity with the ServiceNow Hardware and Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM) module. Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Interprets written business requirements and technical specification documents to design and develop advanced technical solutions that meet business needs in financial industry.
  • Collaborates with IT and Business partners to design, develop, and troubleshoot end to end technical solutions.
  • Performs complex coding to written technical specifications.
  • Tests the resulting coding components in accordance with company standards and as defined in approved testing plans.
  • Investigates, analyzes and documents reported defects - raising issues as appropriate.
  • Analyzes run time profiles to debug errors that may exist.
  • Solves complex defects that arise through own work or the work of others
  • Performs maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.

Required Skills:
  • 5 or more years of Information Technology experience
  • 3 or more years of ServiceNow Development experience
  • Experience with ServiceNow JavaScript (Client Scripts, UI/Data Policies, Script Includes, and ACLs)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Database/Table Structure
  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
  • Atleast one ServiceNow Certification (Certified Administrator or Certified Application Developer)


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Implementing / Maintaining Policies, Process and Procedures for Hardware / Software Asset Management (HAM/SAM)
  • Experience with ITIL/ITSM Processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request, etc.)
  • Experience with Flow Designer and Integration Hub
  • Experience with Service Portal development, AngularJS
  • Experience with Agile development process / continuous improvement

Base Pay Range: $84,700/yr. - $141,200/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
