• Job Description: Assist in solving our customers' most demanding integration challenges with flexible, efficient, and connected solutions. Analyze, design, implement and test muti-tier applications using technologies like core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, JDBC, SOAP/REST Webservices, XML, and JSON on Tomcat/Jetty servers with Oracle as database. Analyze, design, implement and test muti-tier applications using technologies like core Java, Spring framework, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, JDBC, SOAP/REST Webservices, XML, and JSON on Tomcat/Jetty servers with Oracle as database. Implement multi-threaded applications and improve application performance. Analyze and improve query performance for database queries and implement changes in an agile way. Create UNIX shell scripts to assist batch process automation with Control-M. Build and deploy using Jenkins and test changes in lower environments. Perform code review, code quality, compliance, and best practice checks. Troubleshoot, research, and resolve major defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in systems functions, outputs, and content. Identify and address issues to resolution quickly and escalate with management when necessary. Understand incident and problem management methodologies and utilize call/ticketing software, such as JIRA. Support daily production and non-production issues, act as escalation point to resolve urgent and complex issues, and manage expectations. Reports to New York office with up to 100% telecommuting permitted.
• Education Requirement:Bachelor's degree in CS, IT or related
• Experience Requirement: 5 years of experience as a software developer, software engineer or related
• Special Skills:Must have work experience with each of the following: 1) Analyze, design, implement and test muti-tier applications within cost basis and fixed income domain; 2) Bash/shell scripting; 3) Core Java programming and Java Script; 4) Spring framework with JDBC or JSP; 5) Version control source management tools like Git; 6) Node JS; and 7) Redis. Reports to New York office with up to 100% telecommuting permitted.
