At Cognizant Digital Engineering, we believe that a small cross functional team made up of a Product Manager, an Architect, pairs of Developers, and the necessary domain experts like UI/UX designers or Big Data Analysts, can build software faster and with higher quality than having independently working silos of skills. A small team can also build empathy for each other, increasing their ability to react to change coming from either the client, external market realities, or from the end user as we consistently execute through build-measure-learn cycles.

Key Responsibilities • Efforts to onboard and support applications through automation • Evangelize Self Support to all applications to effectively remove blockers and dependencies. • Establish Automation Capabilities Road Map (The Vision) • Environment Build and Support • CI/CD Pipeline build and automation. • Day to Day collaboration with Scrum Teams, providing support to our developers and testers. • Participation in a rotation for operations support, prod and non-prod • Participation in software release and deployment activities. • Writing appropriate levels of documentation.

Skills and Requirements • 5+ years of IT experience on Linux Platform • 5+ years of IT experience on web-based products• 5+ years of experience working on large scale, multiple team projects.• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development• 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (like Jenkins, Sonar, Fortify, XLDeploy, Maven, Docker, Chef, Terraform)• 5+ years of development experience using Java.• 5+ years of experience with at least 1 scripting language such as (Groovy, Shell, Python or PowerShell)
