About the Role
The Security Services team within Cloud Operations provides a suite of security tooling solutions that enable product development teams to get their work done. We embed security controls into our solutions so that our product teams can focus on improving features for Adobe's global customer base. We are seeking a driven security DevOps engineer who can assist with our Secrets Management and Privileged Access Control teams. This position demands broad understanding and solid performance. Expected responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

About the Role
The Security Services team within Cloud Operations provides a suite of security tooling solutions that enable product development teams to get their work done. We embed security controls into our solutions so that our product teams can focus on improving features for Adobe's global customer base. We are seeking a driven security DevOps engineer who can assist with our Secrets Management and Privileged Access Control teams. This position demands broad understanding and solid performance. Expected responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing HashiCorp Vault services to the enterprise. Understanding Vault capabilities, use cases, and the accurate use of Vault within product deployment and runtime.
- Understanding user access (human to machine) both on-premises and cloud resources.
- Experience delivering highly secure and efficient solutions with comprehensive compliance frameworks including: FedRAMP, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA, PCI, and others.
- Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and alerting systems including Splunk, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
- Resolve system outages or performance impact and communicate findings for ongoing improvement.
- Work with third-party vendors to recommend solutions and drive performance and cost efficiency.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
- Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Deep experience with Linux, including large scale OS deployment and automation
- 3-5+ years of team lead or mentoring capabilities
- Experience in public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience operating secrets management tools (HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, AWS KMS)
- Experience using orchestration, automation, and configuration management solutions (Jenkins/Terraform/SaltStack/Rundeck )
- Experience with log analytics tooling (Splunk preferred))
- Experience with programming or scripting (Python, Go, Bash, PowerShell)
- Ability to recommend, design, build, and support complicated solutions at scale
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and related technologies
- Knowledge of software version control systems and release management (Git preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Passionate about designing and supporting complex IT systems while also being able to run day-to-day infrastructure operations. We want someone who does not prefer one tool, but rather looks for the right tool for the job
- Mentorship experience and the desire to lead a team of engineers to the next level
- Experience with FedRAMP environments and the ATO approval process
- Analytical with the ability to fix complex system problems, to assess system performance problems, and can resolve situations looking for all the options and turning over every rock to find the best solution
- Eager to learn, able to take guidance, and able to understand that there is always more to learn
- Ability to work hard as a member of a small team that is asked to do a lot, while always remaining focused on customer success
- Can manage time properly such that commitments are communicated and then met
