Sr. Digital Analyst

Summary / Objective
The Digital Analyst for Name.com will play a key role in analyzing, evaluating, and optimizing Name.com's performance, drawing conclusions from the data, and making recommendations. This person will also be responsible for gathering and organizing data in order to develop dashboards that can be used to understand the business on a weekly and monthly basis. The right person for this role has a strong passion for utilizing quantitative reasoning and financial analysis to solve complex business problems. They will be great at finding insights and able to bring people along in their storytelling. This role will support Finance, Product, and Marketing functions.
This role reports to the Director, Finance.
What You'll Do
Data Organization and Transformation
- Access, organize, and transform data to enable the creation of dashboards, and ongoing formal and ad-hoc analysis.
Dashboard Creation
- Build and maintain dashboards that highlight Name's weekly and monthly performance.
- Assist Marketing and Product team in building dashboards that connect the business.
Analysis and Insights
- In-depth financial modeling: demonstrate intimate familiarity with our financial models. Understand the drivers of KPIs and perform thorough variance analysis to uncover actionable insights.
- Strategic insights for growth: Generate actionable insights aimed at boosting revenue, improving conversion rates, and optimizing the user journey from click to cart.
- Product Team Support: Collaborate with the product team by providing ad-hoc analysis and delivering informed recommendations to enhance our product offerings.
- Ongoing Dashboard Review: Conduct weekly review of dashboards to proactively identify anomalies across various metrics, including account activation, domain performance, and volume and bookings for value-added services.
- Understand customer churn and related reporting at a customer and product level.
Product Analysis
- Craft and oversee a consistent test evaluation reporting structure and share results with stakeholders for ongoing tests.
- Work with the product team to ensure that KPIs being tracked make sense and that we have the systems in place to properly monitor tests.
- Help the product team track KPIs during testing.
Strategy
- Partner with GM to further develop and support strategy for business.
Who You Are / What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in an analytics role with the focus on digital businesses (subscription business a plus) and digital marketing.
- Commercially focused on driving sales and working in a support role within a team.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and appetite to learn new systems.
- Experience with Google BigQuery, MySQL, PowerBI, and/or Tableau.
- Experience with reporting systems including Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, etc.
- Understanding of key elements that impact online selling: Consumer journey, personalization, merchandising, A/B and multivariate testing, cart abandonment, competitor benchmarking, and email and performance marketing.
- Track record of identifying opportunities from data analysis.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings in a way that is understandable for internal partners.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet rigorous deadlines and balance multiple priorities, while maintaining high levels of productivity and detail orientation.

- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to work across time zones as part of a global organization.
Salary Range
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $94,000 - $150,000, plus benefits as described below. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible to receive other compensation from time to time in the form of discretionary and/or nondiscretionary bonuses and long-term incentive plan. Actual compensation will be influenced by a candidate's qualifications, internal employee equity considerations, and location. We will not ask for information about a candidate's current or past compensation for purposes of developing an offer of employment.
US Employees (and their spouses, domestic partners and/or dependent children) are covered by generously subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance. Employees are also covered by company-paid life and disability insurance and have the option of participating in employee-paid supplemental life, accidental death and dismemberment, critical illness, and accident insurance. In addition, employees are able to enroll in the company's matching 401(k) retirement plan. Employees will also annually receive 20 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave, 13 paid holidays, and 8 weeks of paid parental leave. Employees will also have the opportunity to receive tuition reimbursement for qualifying tuition and education-related expenses.
