Product Managers at Cognizant work with account leadership and client stakeholders to discover and define solutions to clients' business problems, lead development of product vision, roadmap and backlog, and represent the customer and client in all aspects of the delivery process. We lead by influence and example, effectively aligning team members, client stakeholders and executives driving progress and delivering solutions that delight our clients and their customers.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and strong communicator with a practical, solution-oriented approach and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Role & Responsibilities

• Understand user needs and prioritize them in alignment with a larger product strategy and vision
• Define product solutions that are simple, delightful, and elegant
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, engineering, and design to define requirements and manage high-quality feature delivery
• Drive the product roadmap for the scope
• Work closely with marketing, support, sales, and other teams to ensure successful go-to-market execution
• Write requirements and user stories, perform market research and competitive analysis, product planning and reporting
• Structure and execute discovery into insights that drive market differentiated solutions
• Successfully sell identified solutions to key stakeholders
• Ensure effective operation and clear understanding/integration of the priorities of the larger P/PA team
• Deliver persuasive verbal and written storytelling of product problem, solution, goals, and journey

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is a seasoned product management leader and practitioner with the following:

• At least 5 years of experience in product management at a major company in one of our core business areas
• A proven track record planning, defining, and launching successful products
• Outstanding narrative and storytelling abilities
• Ability to achieve stretch goals in fast-paced cross functional teams
• Knowledge of Industry and Marketplace Trends, Digital & Next Gen Technologies, as well as the cloud native development lifecycle,
• Hands-on experience with modern development frameworks and agile methodologies including SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) and DevOps
• Strong leadership and proven ability to operate successfully in a collaborative, matrixed global organizational structure
• Experience with driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions
• Experience with creating product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams
• Excellent analytical skills and sound judgement with superior ability to quickly synthesize diverse and complex information
