The Opportunity
The Sr. Director, AEM Consulting is a senior member of the Americas Professional Services leadership team, responsible for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Consulting business in the Americas, and for AEM implementation standards globally. You will focus on defining and delivering outstanding consulting services for the full suite of AEM solutions, leading a highly motivated team of people leaders and consultants to deliver excellence across technical consulting engagements and throughout customer lifecycles. You will ensure success with AEM implementations and integrations, supporting client success through direct engagement, sponsorship, and relationships. By delivering customer value and impact through services engagements, you will achieve key business metrics including revenue, margin, and team utilization!
As the Global Practice Leader, you will have global responsibility for AEM thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and methodologies. A key priority is to orchestrate the thought leadership, innovation, and enablement priorities of Adobe's global Consulting practices, helping customers realize value and improve their return on investment in AEM. Execution against these priorities will be accomplished through close partnership with international counterparts. You will bring a multifaceted understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape, and market dynamics to advise Adobe's go-to-market and delivery strategies. You will engage directly with Product and Engineering leadership to foster alignment on priorities, advocate for customer needs, and advise on product improvements and roadmaps.
What You'll Do
- Lead all aspects of Consulting project delivery for Americas AEM customers, ensuring success across projects totaling $200M+ revenue annually
- Lead global standard implementation methodologies, partnering with Global Practice expert practitioners for knowledge and scale
- Lead the Adobe AEM delivery model and methodology to ensure client success while achieving Adobe's business goals
- Proactively drive collaboration with Engineering and Product Management teams to facilitate knowledge exchange and provide critical field feedback on product strategy, roadmap, and improvements
- Lead and develop people managers and individual contributors responsible for delivery of outstanding consulting engagements
- Nurture and maintain strong executive relationships with customer and partners to ensure overall client happiness.
- Drive creation of compelling and innovative service offerings that use a blend of onshore, offshore, and partner expertise for greatest impact, and collaborate with Sales colleagues to position Adobe Consulting for successful delivery
- Lead team performance to meet and exceed targets and critical metrics
- As a senior leader, develop and drive initiatives across cross-functional and multi-solution teams
- Establish a culture of high expectations and achievement, while leading the team with positivity and optimism
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum of 10 years' experience leading enterprise content and digital asset management implementations
- In-depth experience and knowledge of Adobe AEM or similar enterprise solution
- Experience aligning product feature/functionality to client needs in the market, and tailoring services and integrations to meet those needs
- Experience building partnerships for scale and mutual customer success
- Executive leadership skills including the ability to develop, influence and empower a diverse and international team to improve results
- Ability to lead by influence across a matrixed organization, and driving consensus around shared priorities while leading teams in successful execution
- Ability and knowledge in applying multiple levers to drive business performance and meet or exceed goals including revenue and margin targets
- Ability to interact and communicate for impact with executive and staff levels of an organization. Both internally and externally, including business and technical team members
- Confidence to collaborate, triage and make decisions in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong client service orientation, with proven track record to build effective working relationships with client team members resulting in high client success
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $247,200 -- $482,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
