The Day to Day.
- Build, manage and inspire the Brand group including Creative, Web Development, Project Management, and Brand Management (research, strategy, brand advertising campaigns, sponsorships), along with external agencies and contract resources.
- Foster a Performance Brand culture and develop a brand growth measurement framework and QOQ tracker for the team.
- Establish our next gen Product-Brand interlock in partnership with product marketing to bridge company brand and product line messaging and positioning, and substantive briefings for Creatives.
- Provide direction on branding, marketing and advertising programs to effectively meet business goals and show trackable results.
- Guide Creative leadership with brand strategy to inform design, photography, video, copy, voice and tone to strengthen the WP Engine brand and its product lines with our target audiences.
- Build a highly motivated, collaborative and agile team culture, overseeing the development of a creative process and delivery model that simplifies capacity planning, enables production efficiency and streamlines the planning and prioritization process across our Demand Gen/Growth, Partner Marketing, Web Strategy, and Communications teams.
- Partner with VP of Corporate Marketing together with Creative & Brand leadership to quarterback acquired brand integration strategy including development and execution of new Brand architecture, updated guidelines, brand identity, and next gen design system.
- Work with Creative leadership to define and consistently uphold brand visual and copy standards at every customer touchpoint supporting teams to concept, plan, and execute highly compelling creative across all media while also infusing strategy, training the team on best practices for creative within different channels to drive business impact
- Support Creative team with their continued and expanded understanding and internalization of customer needs and business goals driving partnership with other marketing teams on kickoff meetings, briefings, deep-dive Q&A sessions with Product Marketers, etc.
- Partner with marketing leadership in developing quarterly and annual Marketing planning cycles that bring together prioritized initiatives across marketing teams and creative capacity management to support.
Your Expertise and Passion.
- 15+ years marketing leadership experience with at least five years management oversight of in-house and external agencies.
- Experience managing a high performance, multi-team group of 20+ marketers.
- Background experience in M&A brand integration strategy development and execution orchestration
- Passion for building cross-functional relationships that drive alignment around brand and business goals
- Experience leading and inspiring breakthrough creative across marketing disciplines (Graphic & Web Design, Copy, Video, Presentation) with specific expertise in articulating creative strategy requirements for advertising that drives impact across digital and social channels.
- Seasoned story-teller with deep experience in bringing brands to life to inspire affinity and loyalty
- High level of emotional intelligence to manage teams through growth while balancing the needs of stakeholders
- You're a juggler, conductor, multi-tasker extraordinair with a talent for building systems and organizing teams for optimal success. Clifton Strength "Arranger" would ideally be in your Top 3.
