As the Sr. Director New Business Development, you will lead a team that Identifies, analyzes and develops the business case for investing in new business opportunities for both new and existing markets to achieve growth in Retirement Services profitability. Evaluates and makes decisions on new business ventures and development that can impact improvements to market segmentation, client retention, channel effectiveness and in the development of an integrated product portfolio. Responsible for evaluating, improving and rationalizing existing product portfolio and is responsible for recommendations that will improve performance, fill competitive gaps and simplify the product offerings.

What you'll do: Responsibilities
- Develop business cases of major investments for recommendation to senior management and integrates potential partner firms/new business opportunities with ADP's internal strategies and resources. Evaluate financial position, strategy, markets, competitive product offerings and strength of operations.
- Research, identify and analyze potential new business opportunities sourced from within ADP and selected markets in non-U.S. territories from internal and external resources. Design quantitative research and other methods to analyze relative geographical indicators, new markets, industries and firms, strategies for entering potential markets and new approaches to entering existing markets.
- Manage and lead the internal process required to secure senior management approval and complete investment transactions. Coordinate with all appropriate corporate and external resources in an effort to complete transactions in a timely and effective manner.
- Support discussions and negotiations with potential business partners, involving the principals and senior management from the other firms and the investment bankers involved in potential transactions.
- Ensure the successful integration of new business into existing operations from the start of the transaction process until new reporting arrangements have been finalized and working relationships established.
- Continue to stay abreast of the market, technology and competitive developments in selected industries and geographic locations.
- Responsible for creating framework to measure to evaluate existing product portfolio and review quarterly we key stakeholders
- Define and align initiatives (continuous) to improve product performance and competitiveness
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in analyzing new business opportunities with a proven proficiency in designing and performing quantitative research and developing business cases for major investments. Financial and Retirement Industry experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills and ability to creatively devise new solutions. Ability to handle multiple, high priority projects simultaneously and excel under the pressure of time sensitive investment deals. Strong presentation and negotiation skills required. Must be able to collaborate, lead through influence and work across functions to accomplish goals
- May consider remote if candidate has strong background/experience
A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:
- 8--10 years total experience plus substantial experience as noted above, OR
- Military experience -- skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a "never lose" mentality will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.
