Job Summary
Reporting to the Service Vice President, Telecom OSS/BSS and Application Development, the Senior Director is responsible for creating and maintaining highly effective partnerships with Product Management, Sales, Customer Experience, Project Management Office, IT and Field Operations. Working in support of an assigned client team, the Senior Director will work to identify and obtain participation from cross-functional core teams, including matrixed project managers, with guidance from senior product development and technology leadership. The Senior Director will build program plans and maintains program record and works with the core team to identify and schedule all the work for end-to-end deployment required to fulfill program scope. Working closely with the Project Management Office and Procurement, the Enablement and Engagement Team communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. This includes managing proposed changes to program parameters and works with Enterprise Program Management Office and Program Managers to ensure successful delivery of products.
Responsibilities
  • Identifies and manages program critical path, being mindful of upstream and downstream dependencies, raising key observations and tackling concerns to ensure seamless path forward
  • Interfaces with Product Management & CX teams, by discussing requirements and needs
  • Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Identifies and manages proposed changes to program parameters and works with Enterprise Program Management and Program Managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed.
  • Oversee and develop functional use cases
  • Consolidates all Technology obsolescence, and Evolution roadmaps and translates into requirements to execute by the Business
  • Provides governance support, vendor management and prioritization.
  • Runs project deliverables, schedule & benefit realization reviews
  • Receives Business Requirements and provides initial feasibility study, cost, and tentative timelines.
  • Supports Business Case creation and profitability analysis

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or applicable years of work experience
  • Minimum of ten years product management or engineering experience
  • Previous telecom experience is highly preferred
  • Expertise in articulating product functionality and demonstrating technical acumen
  • Experience influencing and leading in a matrix environment
  • Ability to work effectively with deeply technical partners, business stakeholders, and operational teams to organize, influence, and align them toward the best product outcomes.
  • Experience articulating and translating business strategy, product vision, and analysis for a product
  • Consulting experience including Change Management, Business Consulting, and Project Implementation disciplines.
  • Highly analytical with ability to drive product feature discussion using both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Experience crafting a product strategy and vision and translating that into an agile & iterative product roadmap

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $183,600.00 - $233,400.00 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
