Business Management
The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic advice for the assigned business area. While focusing on the highest-level projects, this job executes strategic business management consulting by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being the central point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is a recognized master in the Business Management area.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Acts as a technical/functional master in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
- Oversees the implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
- Drives process improvements in assigned business area.
- Analyzes and reports to senior management on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.
- Oversees business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items.
- Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.
- Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.
- Effectively manages time to follow through on multiple projects, commitments and assignments.
- Develops agendas for leadership meetings and designs/coordinates team activities.
- Drives the research, analysis and measurement of the P&BD HR strategy; responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure a robust plan taking into consideration internal and external trends. This requires partnership with other internal stakeholders to build/refresh the strategy and road map to achieve the desired outcomes.
- Research and stay abreast of market and progressive HR strategies to bring outside in best practices to the Human Capital plan.
- Leads all business management activities and initiatives for the P&BD HR team serving as the CHRO's chief of staff. Establishes team business routines and meetings to ensure team continuity, efficacy and efficiency, and timely and flawless execution of key deliverables. Builds and maintains clear processes, standards and timelines to enable seamless, timely and simple execution; engaging and educating key partners at the right time to create a common understanding (OCOO, Finance, HRBP, HR COE, Communications, etc.)
- Leads the talent related content creation for the P&BD and Enterprise routines including leadership team meetings, Quartering Operating Reviews, and Board reports; providing expertise in the development of PowerPoint presentations that are effective in delivery and compelling in the messaging.
- Has oversight of projects, programs and change management initiatives such as workforce planning, location strategy, and culture change. The role oversees the adoption of best practices and will champion process improvements and efficiency initiatives across the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
- 5+ years of business management, portfolio management and/or human resources experience
PREFERRED:
- 7+ years of business management, portfolio management and/or human resources experience
- Budget planning experience
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel would be a top priority
- Critical thinking with the ability to evaluate and solve complex problems
- Project and change management
- Experience preparing executive ready presentations and speaking points
- BA/BS degree
- Advanced degree in Business, HR or related field such as organizational psychology
- Experience with project, data, business management or human resources
- Understanding of Financial Services industry
- Travel: 10-20%

Base Pay Range: $136,900/yr. - $205,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
