Sr. Director, End Point Management
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Director of End Point Management, to join our global team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the productivity of end users in their daily work, including designing, building, and supporting relevant enterprise systems and processes. This individual will own the end point device management environment, including laptops Win and MACs and mobile devices, the M365 suite, related Microsoft tools, Citrix, Software packaging and additional end point device tools such as Jamf, Beyond Trust and proprietary applications. The Sr. Director will work closely with multiple organizational directors to ensure customer satisfaction, work processes and ITSM functions are executed with minimal disruption to the end user. Partnering with multiple leaders and director or senior director levels. Strong coordination and teamwork with PMO, Security, Automation & Infrastructure, Collaboration, Communication and ITSM leadership as well as leaders to ensure the company is effectively leveraging existing applications to mitigate risk and increase productivity.
This role will ensure effective adoption of ITIL/ITSM and Agile processes. Leading directors responsible for QA Testing, Packaging, MSFT Suite, Exchange, and Citrix VDI, a team of approximately 3 New Jersey based and 1 Norfolk based directors. This senior leader will also play a hands-on role in supporting end users and systems, vendor applications and customer satisfaction. During this period of rapid growth and evolution, the Sr. Director may be assigned additional responsibilities (beyond the core responsibilities described above) based on company needs, the individual's experience and expertise, and the availability of resources within IT.
We are working in hybrid work environment and requires someone to work out of our Roseland, NJ office 3 days a week with the flexibility of working from home the other two days.
Responsibilities:
- Select, configure, and support enterprise end-user systems and platforms including desktop engineering, Microsoft M365 suite and related tools, packaging, and Citrix VDI.
- Design and drive adoption of new processes, tools, and vendors for end user support, must be familiar with user lifecycle management (including provisioning), and identity & access management.
- Maintain the end-user and lab computing environments to stay current with patching and/or effective mitigations where patching is impractical.
- Design and manage the tools and processes required for productive and secure collaboration with external parties.
- Provide hands-on support as needed to global resources but may be required to directly support New Jersey-based colleagues and on-prem systems including AV as it may impact end point devices.
- Engage with users across the organization to understand and improve the user experience.
- Manage vendor operational deliverables eg. hardware, software and service providers) in the context of both project delivery and ongoing operations to maximize value
- Manage the internal team and contingent resources to design and deliver effective solutions (people + process + technology) and to seamlessly support those solutions.
- Drive training and adoption of relevant capabilities and features within the Microsoft suite (eg. Teams, Azure Rights Management Services, etc.)
- Leverage data and metrics to understand performance trends, enable insights, and promote continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the strategy to evolve the overall IT operating model, including new structure, processes, and ways of working.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the IT group grows and evolves based on company needs, relevant experience and expertise, and availability of resources within IT.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and standards to support compliance with relevant regulations (eg. GDPR, SOX, privacy).
- Partner with existing senior leaders to ensure cohesion, compliance, and collaboration amongst the team and with BU leaders and respective organizations.
- Develop and propose short- and long-term objectives for the function in accordance with overall company strategies and plans.
- Recruit, lead, direct, develop, coach, and evaluate direct reports, in accordance with ADP's Human Resource policies and practices.

Qualifications:
- Minimum undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least 15+ years of progressive information technology experience
- 10+ years of the experience is in a leadership/people management capacity of 50+ global employees preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of endpoints, virtual or physical mobile devices as well as the OS and application such as Microsoft M365 suite and related tools including Intune for PC's and mobile devices. Jamf for Apple devices and end point performance management tools.
- Strong experience in IT operations including ITIL/ITSM processes and associated systems eg. ServiceNow.
- ITIL 3 or higher certification is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain highly technical information in a concise and effective manner to an audience of varying technical aptitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset.
- Effective problem solving, with an emphasis on diagnosing and resolving root causes, and on building and supporting robust solutions.
- Ability to work independently, as a team member as required, and across the organization with colleagues at any level.
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvements in business processes.
- PMP or strong project/program management skills is required.
- Must demonstrate the ability to build trust and collaboration with internal team leadership and external business customers.
- Strong Identity Access Management, Active Directory and security related access concepts experience is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the financial or and Human Capital Management industries is preferred.
- Experience supporting a global commercial organization in financial services is a plus.
