Senior Director, Infrastructure and Operations

The Senior Director, Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) will drive IT Infrastructure Architecture, Design, Implementation, Services, Operations, and Support teams. The Senior Director, I&O will use their proven visionary directorship, knowledge, and experience to deliver high-quality execution, customer-focused delivery, and metrics-driven operational excellence.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Direct the strategic planning, design, development, and operational management of all aspects of IT infrastructure and software product support, including capital and operational budget management
  • Oversee Azure cloud, backup/recovery, availability, disaster recovery testing, network, communications (e.g., audio/web/videoconferencing, telecommunications, email), endpoints, field operations and service desk
  • Align with the CIO’s vision in developing world-class metrics to measure IT operational and financial performance, driving strong metrics-driven culture across team
  • Develop, review, and measure KPIs and metrics, evaluating team performance, and making decisions based on rational and relevant data and metrics
  • Oversee SaaS operations, implement right monitoring and deployment practices
  • Establish budgets that are driven by plans, accurately forecast costs, efficiently manage variances, and improve service value
  • Guide the technical support team that focuses on efficient troubleshooting on complicated, distributed systems deployed in various customer environments
  • Oversee direct reports including hiring, training, and mentoring

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, professional experience may be substituted
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Relevant licenses and/or certifications in networking, security, system management, and cloud management are preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively increasing ownership in corporate IT infrastructure management, technical service, and operations plus customer support functions including ten (10) years in leadership positions
  • Healthcare IT experience preferred
  • Enterprise software company experience, including architecting, designing, provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting infrastructure in the cloud, preferably using Azure
  • Strong resource management and broad technical background in infrastructure and SaaS applications
  • Experience gaining broad support for proposed IT strategies, organizational structures, operating model, and plans
  • Extensive and proven operational experience effectively evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining 24x7 services (e.g., audio/web/video conferencing, VOIP, network, server, helpdesk, endpoint management) through ITIL processes (e.g., incident, problem, change management)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of how to formulate methodologies, standards, policies, and processes that meet functional, performance, availability, DR, security, and operational requirements
  • Experience with security frameworks, technical designs, and operational controls
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience with demonstrated aptitude to mentor and develop team members
  • Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and oversee people and projects

Salary/Wage base range for this role starts at $170,000.00 -$200,000 DOE + Bonus + Equity. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other qualifications.
