Strive Care Partners 

Strive Care Partners (SCP) is a dedicated business unit within Strive Health that partners with nephrologists to share and succeed in global risk contracts with payors. SCP will benefit patients with CKD and ESKD through a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that enhances lives and local communities. SCP develops local market partnerships with nephrologists and provides them with the tools necessary to be successful in managing risk on their patients. Specifically, SCP delivers primary care services, specialized clinical programs, data integration and analytics, care teams, and administrative support services – all embedded within the nephrologist’s practice. SCP contracts with local market payors on the nephrologists’ behalf to take global risk on their CKD and ESKD patients and provides nephrologists with meaningful short-term and long-term financial incentives, including participation in shared savings and equity-based programs. 

Sr. Director, Market Operations

The Sr. Director of Market Operations will be responsible for supporting the annual planning, strategy and business change management for Strive Care Partners vertical.

 

Essential Functions

  • Supports the annual planning efforts and the execution of the 3-year annual business plan that includes internal and external communications and associate engagement activities.
  • Program responsibilities such as executive reporting, project communications, management of issues logs and change requests, facilitating project meetings, managing deliverables, and ensuring resolution of escalated issues.
  • Develops and coordinates presentations and materials for executive management meetings, internal and external speaking engagements, and meetings.
  • Responsible for the implementation and execution of strategy that includes change management, sponsorship and buy-in and advocacy efforts to get business results.
  • Drives performance within markets for the market economics, operational KPIs, revenue drivers, enrollment analytics and financial forecasting
  • Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support for initiatives including regulatory and mandated projects, special projects, and corporate initiatives.
  • Leads, identifies, tracks, and reports on areas for increased efficiency.
  • Develops, monitors, and tracks metrics supporting budget and spend.
  • Manages variance process, staffing plans, and staff meetings.
  • Create and manage a process for tracking and communicating actual results to Goals.
  • Manage the MBR/QBR process by redefining content, working with the markets to gather required information, collating and packaging content for the meetings and holding the market and other teams accountable to meeting deadlines for deliverables.
  • Facilitate and support the Med econ and QIP process with the Actuarial Team and the Clinical Transformation and Performance Medical Director.
  • Operational responsibilities including credentialing, care coordination and market operations project management.
  • Meet in person with internal and/or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 8 years’ experience leading high-performing teams
  • 5 years’ experience leading/developing business strategy, operational KPIs, revenue management, and financial forecasting
  • Business travel
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Possesses an understanding of challenges and opportunities in kidney care space, including complexities of CKD and ESRD patient cohorts, regulatory and reimbursement environment, industry and market dynamics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions
  • C-Suite experience
