What We're Looking For:
The role will work in tandem with the SVP, Marketing Strategy, to accelerate 2U's transition to platform marketing efforts with specific focus on edX marketing.
You will build and execute on all things growth, including, experimentation and platform adoption by growing traffic, improving monetization of the platform, opening up new monetization and cross-sell pathways and driving LTV among 2U's portfolio of users. This role is a critical strategic leader on the Marketing Strategy team.
Your immediate priorities will include rebuilding our paid strategy across B2B & B2C marketing for edX, including but not limited to restructuring ad accounts, aligning on geographic strategy, improving tracking, implementing ecommerce and b2b best practices, and developing a new product launch schedule to maximize ROAS.
The right candidate for this role will have a bias towards execution, and a proven track record of working cross-functionally with leaders of all levels in order to launch new initiatives.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
- Work with VP, SVP or CMO to understand monthly and quarterly business objectives
- Partner with SVP, Marketing Strategy to build a comprehensive roadmap across the edX ecosystem, in addition to owning other key-growth initiatives such as new paid media and analytics
- Work with Director, Marketing Strategy to own implementation of roadmap, work with various stakeholders to unblock any areas of concern, and implement clear deadlines for all stages of work
- Drive the organization & project management of growth initiatives
- Build innovative processes that focus on lean yet organized scale
- Partner with SVP, Marketing Strategy to build marketing strategy team, instilling a high-velocity testing culture focused on driving big wins
- Work cross functionally with email, analytics, creative, web dev, and media in order to build the future of 2U
- Drive visibility into our efforts by communicating on a monthly cadence wins, trends, projects, & key goals across various stakeholder groups including sales & marketing leadership
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- 8 - 10+ years of experience
- Proficiency in both Tableau
- Experience managing media in Google Ads, LinkedIn, & Meta
- Experience with Google Analytics, Hubspot, & Google Tag Manager

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($150,000 -$175,000), with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
