HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Vice President will report to the Managing Director CDB Benefits in the Sales division of PayFlex Sales. This role is responsible for selling and positioning the PayFlex Medicare One Card to Medicare Advantage and Medicaid payors and brokers.
  1. Your primary responsibility will be to sell the financial service product PayFlex offers to Medicare Advantage and Medicaid payors and brokers. You will need to be focused on selling through channels, your relationships and directly to the other service providers in this space.
  2. As part of your job, you will need to conduct a needs assessment (and provide regular updates), understanding the specific requirements and challenges of each prospect, and tailoring our product offering to meet their unique needs. You will need to effectively communicate the value proposition of your product, demonstrate how it addresses their pain points, and differentiate it from competitors' offerings.
  3. A key component of your job will be to build relationships with Key Decision Makers in the Medicare Advantage marketplace.
    1. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key decision makers in Medicare Advantage and Medicaid payors and brokers.
    2. This involves understanding their needs, pain points, and business objectives. By establishing rapport and trust, you can position yourself as a valuable partner and advisor, increasing the likelihood of unseating long-standing partnerships with competitors, as well as, creating new opportunities to fill unoccupied whitespace.
  4. To succeed as a salesperson in this space you will need to have a strong understanding of CMS Rules and Regulations. This will require you to have a deep understanding of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) rules and regulations that govern Medicare Advantage and Medicaid programs. This includes staying up to date with changes in policies, reimbursement rates, compliance requirements, and any rule changes that may impact the financial service product you are selling. This knowledge will enable you to effectively communicate the benefits and value of our product within the customer need/demand, payor competitive and regulatory landscape, and competitive positioning.
  5. Accountable for Unseating Competitors: One of your key goals will be to unseat long-standing partnerships currently served by competitors. This requires a strategic and persistent approach. You will need to conduct competitive analysis to identify gaps or weaknesses in competitors' offerings and leverage your knowledge of the market and relationships with decision makers to position your product as a superior alternative. Your ability to effectively communicate the benefits and value of your product, along with providing excellent customer service, will be crucial in winning over clients and securing their business. You will also need to partner closely with the product team to ensure the right solutions/features to achieve sales success are being incorporated into roadmaps and product planning.

Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting: You will be accountable for tracking your sales performance and reporting progress to management. This involves maintaining accurate records of sales activities, tracking leads and opportunities, and providing regular updates on your sales pipeline. By analyzing sales data and identifying trends, you can make informed decisions and

  • 5-10 years of applicable experience in Medicare/Medicaid Servicing
  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience selling into payor organizations

  • Successful client relationship building

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to travel between 25-50% of time depending on client/prospect schedule
