Job Summary
This strategic editorial position on the Programming & Partnerships team within the Consumer Growth & Engagement organization will act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on the media and content consumption habits of key multicultural audiences. They will oversee prioritization and programming of content across all multicultural content verticals including Black Experience, Latino, Asian American, Native American & International content offerings. This individual will lead a team of editors who will work closely with our content partners, product and marketing teams, to employ their cultural entertainment and programming expertise along with data driven decision-making to differentiate the content experience across all Xfinity video platforms for these key customers. This leader will also work closely with the cable DE&I organization to execute periodic strategic content driven experiences on and off platform that support the cable DE&I goals. This individual will have deep cultural knowledge of Black, Latino and Asian American audiences with the ability to speak fluently and comfortably to audience insights, tastes, cultural nuances. They will also have strong executive presence and communication skills with a high level of comfort speaking to senior leadership as well as externally on panels and with media and organizations. This individual should also be a television, movie and social media enthusiast familiar with industry and community trends. They will be sensitive to data, able to monitor and track results against goals and adjust editorial and programming accordingly.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and set strategic goals and execution plans for and team of editors & programmers
- Ensure consistent and quality execution of daily editorial programming of all multicultural content menus on X1, Xfinity Flex, and Stream and related platforms while partnering with multiple teams, including content, operations, and marketing
- Lead the team in the creation of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly programming schedules on X1, Xfinity Flex, and Stream and related platforms; plan and collaborate on special features, stunts and events that drive growth against goals; maintain a corresponding editorial calendar
- Provide support for the programming of the Black Experience on Xfinity channel and the Xfinity Latino Presenta channel on X1.
- Build and maintain existing relationships and partnerships with cultural film festivals and industry organizations
- Keep up with TV ratings and culturally relevant programming across tv networks, movie studios, OTT services & SVODs to deliver a comprehensive curated experience on X1, Xfinity Flex, and Stream and related platforms
- Identify content opportunities using content to grow usage, revenue, and retention
- Liaison for Programming and Partnership team to the Cable DE&I organization including involvement with DE&I council initiatives where content is being leveraged
- Prepare and lead presentations to senior leadership on key multicultural content & programming initiatives
- Represent Xfinity's editorial voice in media, on panels, on-camera interviews with talent
- Identify opportunities for audience growth and customer satisfaction, drive against multi-platform performance and monetization. Use data to evaluate and document best practices.
- Think and execute both strategically and tactically; ability to think big while being detail-oriented
- Consistent exercise of independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Minimum Requirements
- Experience in the multicultural entertainment industry or marketing space with a media agency, streaming service, or studio/network preferred.
- Must be able to speak and write with fluency in English
- A passion for understanding multicultural audience
- Must be able to build, sustain and nurture relationships with a variety of external and internal partners
- The ability to think creatively, entrepreneurially, and analytically Experience converting ideas into timely, results-oriented programming and editorial
- Proven ability to work across an organization at all levels with technical, creative, and executive team members and adapt to fast-changing business conditions
- Collaborative, communicative team player; independent thinker; multi-tasker able to thrive in fast-paced, goal-oriented, high-achieving culture
- Ability to craft strategic stories around content, programming, and results in Power Point and Keynote; and the ability to track results in Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail a must

Bachelor's Degree (Required)
