Sr. Director of Global Marketing
Job Description
Allegro is seeking to add a Sr. Director of Global Marketing to our Sales and Marketing organization.

As our Sr. Director of Marketing, you'll lead Allegro's global content and digital marketing strategies and elevate Allegro's reputation as a market leader in power and sensing semiconductor solutions. You will have the scope and influence to implement marketing strategies that unify Allegro's value proposition across our portfolios for a global audience and accelerate progress towards our growth ambitions.
You are a seasoned marketer who has experience implementing fundamental marketing strategies applied to automotive and/or industrial end markets. You can inspire, unify, and empower a growing team of marketing professionals to accelerate growth through both account-based and digital marketing strategies to drive growth with our target audiences. You will measure effectiveness to maximize the impact of your team's efforts in dynamic markets and regions. You will serve as a main point of contact to Region and BU Marketing leaders in managing and executing their digital marketing program needs.
Responsibilities
- Content: Work collaboratively with Allegro's BU and Sales teams to drive Allegro's content marketing strategy for specific product categories, applications and market segments aligned with business objectives. Oversee flawless and impactful product launches and applications campaigns to create awareness, generate excitement and catalyze qualified design-in activities for new products. Ensure content is customer-centric and highlights value drivers for the target audience in order to drive growth in key opportunity Regions. Own and evolve customer-facing digital properties including AllegroMicro.com and other campaign landing pages. Create a best-in-class user experience for all content across our digital channels
- Digital: Drive the long-term strategic planning, and shorter-term development and execution of inbound and outbound digital marketing, lead generation programs and customer engagement efforts to support the buyer's journey from conception to volume production. Stay on top of digital trends and best practices to continually evolve our customer experience into the future.
Narrative: Develop clear, compelling, and impactful messaging based on value propositions. Ensure message alignment between product line, business unit and corporate communication campaigns to maximize relevance to target audiences. Understand market segmentation and targeting as part of a customer engagement and lead generation strategy.
- Analysis: Optimize messaging and marketing strategy to drive intended outcomes. Ensure that metrics tracking and analysis, and reporting mechanisms are in place for all digital channels and initiatives aligned to marketing and business objectives. Leverage marketing analytics to provide insights and make recommendations to drive agile practices to respond to market inputs quickly and thoughtfully.
- Leadership/Collaboration: Be and be perceived as the marketing champion and thought leader internally to unify and inspire the various functional teams (Marketing, Products, Technology, Sales, IT, etc.) to enthusiastically support your strategy. Build and inspire a high-potential and effective team of digital marketers that can grow and develop their skills and careers at Allegro while delivering incredible outcomes for the company. Lead the engagement of external partners, agencies, firms, and other resources as required.
Experience & Skills
- BA/BS degree in Marketing or related degree
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing, brand strategy and digital media, demand generation, campaign management, web design, and media planning.
- Minimum of 5 years of people management experience
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate the company's strategy and technology.
- High-tech B2B marketing experience - semiconductor experience a plus
- Experience in defining standards and governance for constantly evolving digital marketing environment with multiple regional and global stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-channel campaigns and product launches
- Experience with SEO/SEM and web strategy development
- Keen understanding of and experience with industry tools, tactics, trends and measurement techniques
- Strong prioritization and time management skills, experience in an agile environment a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the company and to influence without authority
- Track record of building and retaining successful teams.
- Ability to flex and adapt to shifting priorities and stakeholder needs
- Experience with analytics tools a plus.
